Common Mistakes People Make While Pursuing Their Career
After you are graduated and about to pursue your career, you need to go through some common Mistakes People Make While Pursuing Their Career so that in your case, you can avoid them. Here I am writing most common mistakes in common scenarios novice career starters do:
Follow Pressure instead of Passion:
After graduation, the first thing you go through is the financial pressure. You are suddenly mature and people such as your parents and relatives expect a lot from you in terms of doing something awesome financially. If that isn’t the case, you are simply looking for some best opportunities to get financially stable. In this case, most people forget about their passions and what they are best at doing and contrarily, opt to a career in which they think they can make more money. Having a job is not just about money but it is related to your overall satisfaction. If you are not satisfied at work or aren’t performing better, still you will not be satisfied even if you are getting a salary.
Not Trusting Upon One’s Own Abilities Rather Following Someone Successful In The Family:
Here is another mistake that people make while opting to their careers is that they never believe in themselves. Such as, even if you are good at something but somebody tells you that this thing isn’t good for a career. Or, you are good at something still others tell you, you are not. In this way, you get into a situation of disbelief where you get unable to trust yourself and start following others. Remember that if somebody is doing well at something then it is not necessary that you can do the same. What they are doing is their strength while you need to find your own strength to shine your practical life and choose the most suitable career for you.
Not Being Friendly At Work and Doing Bad Wording About Seniors especially Boss:
People who are new in their practical life don’t know much about the needs and requirements of practical life. Sometimes they think themselves a badass and start doing misbehave with the coworkers and start doing bad mouthing about their seniors. Remember, even if you are the best worker but lack good conduct no company is going to keep you as their employee. You need to friendly as well as flexible to be in a company. I am not saying that you are always wrong and seniors are right, but they are in the company for more time while you have just joined them hence you need time to make your space. Till then you will have to hear what others say.
Lastly, you need to pursue a career that even if it gives less money at the start but keeps you satisfied during your everyday life. You are yet starting your practical life hence there is a lot more to learn. Hence, at the very start, don’t think too much about money but give importance to other points as well.
